This position involves providing comprehensive advice on all facets of corporate tax. The opportunity lies within a well-established and diverse tax practice, allowing you to work on a broad array of transactions and tax structuring. The focus will be on ensuring tax-efficient strategies that align with client requirements.

Primary Responsibilities: The tax team delivers guidance on structuring and executing transactions within the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will offer tax advice on various matters, including:

  • Structured real estate transactions
  • Mergers & Acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
  • Funds, including hedge, debt, real estate, and other asset classes
  • International tax structures and cross-border transactions
  • Structured finance, including asset and Islamic finance, and capital markets
  • Insolvency and restructuring
  • VAT and indirect tax issues

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Ideally qualified in England and Wales, or possess equivalent legal qualifications to practice in the UK.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Extensive corporate tax experience, particularly in a City or large regional firm.
  • Experience in real estate tax and corporate transaction taxation is beneficial.
  • Additional experience may include fund taxation, financial transaction taxation, and tax accounting.
