About the Role
Opportunity in a Silver Circle firm.
This firm is seeking a highly qualified tax attorney to join its dynamic and expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate tax law, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and related documentation. While experience in Infrastructure M&A is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
The successful applicant will have a background in an international law firm, demonstrating exceptional technical and analytical skills in contractual drafting, due diligence, and providing regulatory and strategic advice. The firm values professionals who are committed to cultivating client relationships and developing their own networks.
Key responsibilities include managing projects and transactions, collaborating closely with colleagues, clients, counterparties, and other advisers. The candidate should exhibit a passion for business development, strong interpersonal skills, and a dedication to understanding and meeting client needs with first-class service.
Essential qualities include enthusiasm for tax law, proactivity, organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. The role requires expertise in advising corporate and commercial clients on domestic and international tax matters, fund structures, real estate, private equity, management incentive plans, and potentially oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. Proficiency in drafting structure papers is also crucial.
The firm offers high-quality tax work across diverse practice areas, excellent career development opportunities, and significant responsibility.
