Opportunity in a Leading firm.
This firm seeks an R&D Senior Manager to join them. They are offering both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage a portfolio of key R&D clients, ensuring the provision of high-quality R&D tax advisory services. This includes preparing detailed R&D reports for submission to HMRC, fostering a collaborative approach, and demonstrating a keen understanding of technical risk through well-documented research. The role also requires active participation in business development activities, such as networking, seeking client referrals, and building a network of referrers. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to offer technical guidance and support to colleagues on innovation incentives and tax strategies for innovative businesses.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE R&D SENIOR TAX MANAGER INCLUDE:
- Managing a portfolio of key R&D clients
- Preparing comprehensive R&D reports for HMRC submissions and ensuring high-quality R&D tax services
- Promoting a collaborative work environment and identifying technical risks through thorough research
- Expanding the client base via structured business development initiatives
- Providing technical advice and assistance to colleagues on innovation tax incentives and strategic tax planning for innovative companies
- Conducting in-depth research on complex tax legislation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION:
- CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) certification
- Experience across diverse sectors, reflecting the varied backgrounds of clients
- Solid foundation in corporate tax, honed within an accountancy practice
- Extensive, proven experience in handling R&D tax claims
- Strong technical expertise and research abilities in complex tax legislation
