R&D Senior Manager

Opportunity in a Leading firm.

This firm is seeking a Senior R&D Manager to join their team.  The primary role involves overseeing a portfolio of key R&D clients, ensuring the delivery of top-tier R&D tax advisory services.

Responsibilities include drafting comprehensive R&D reports for HMRC submissions, fostering a team-oriented approach, and demonstrating a strong grasp of technical risk through meticulous research. The position also requires active engagement in business development, such as networking, securing client referrals, and building a network of industry contacts. Additionally, the ideal candidate will provide technical guidance and support to colleagues on innovation incentives and strategic tax solutions for innovative companies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing a diverse portfolio of key R&D clients
Preparing detailed R&D reports for HMRC submissions and delivering exceptional R&D tax advisory services
Encouraging a collaborative work culture and assessing technical risks through in-depth research
Expanding the client base through targeted business development efforts
Offering technical support and guidance to colleagues on tax incentives for innovation and strategic tax planning for innovative firms
Conducting detailed research on complex tax legislation

QUALIFICATIONS:

CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualification
Experience across a variety of sectors, reflecting the diverse needs of clients
Strong background in corporate tax, developed within an accountancy practice
Proven, extensive experience in managing R&D tax claims
High level of technical expertise and research skills in complex tax legislation
