About the Role

Opportunity in a Top 100 Law firm.

This firm seeks a dedicated Associate to join its Private Client team, where the primary focus is on delivering exceptional service through solution-oriented advice. The role requires building strong client relationships, inspiring trust, and maintaining active engagement with clients' concerns.

Responsibilities encompass advising clients on a wide array of tax and private client issues. The position involves close collaboration with partners and other professionals within the Private Client team, as well as regular interaction with colleagues from the property, corporate, and dispute resolution departments.

Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of UK and international tax law. However, ongoing support and guidance will be provided by partners to further develop and refine this expertise, enabling the Associate to address client needs effectively.

Under the supervision of partners, the Associate will handle a diverse range of tasks, including:

  • Drafting customised tax advice and planning solutions for both UK and international clients, coordinating with other departments and external counsel when necessary.
  • Managing client files from initiation to completion, which includes scoping and quoting for new matters, providing regular updates, and overseeing billing.
  • Engaging with intermediaries such as bankers, financial advisers, and trustees on behalf of clients.
  • Preparing bespoke legal documents, including deeds, agreements, and Wills.
  • Conducting research on specific areas of tax and trusts law.
  • Offering support to the real estate, corporate, litigation, and finance teams, particularly in advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic and supportive environment.
