Private Client Tax Director

This firm is currently seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team in Bristol. This firm specialises in cultivating relationships and expanding business opportunities, offering a comprehensive range of tax and related services to private clients.

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to join a growing team, where you will hold full responsibility and accountability for managing a portfolio of clients, leveraging your technical expertise. You will excel in managing and nurturing client relationships, with the objective of identifying and expanding business opportunities both within your existing client base and beyond. In this role, you will be responsible for inspiring and guiding associate directors, senior managers, and other team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client service while minimizing conduct risk. You will also play a key role in the management of your department and/or office, as applicable.

As a Private Client Tax Director, your duties will encompass:

• Providing strategic and technical advice to clients on their personal tax matters.
• Leading client meetings to ensure that advice is current, clear, and tailored to client needs.
• Enhancing the firm’s reputation both internally and externally.
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures to mitigate risks.
• Managing financial aspects, including chargeable hours, billing, and client accounts.
• Overseeing staff management and development in coordination with the Head of Bristol.

Qualifications:

• Degree holder with Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser qualifications.
• Extensive experience in private client tax services within a professional or boutique advisory firm.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and generate new business.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial acumen.
