Audit Partner

Opportunity in a Top 20 firm.

This firm is seeking an experienced and accomplished Audit Partner to join them. In this role, you will work closely with local and national partners to further develop and build our audit team, client offering, and contribute to our wider strategy for sustainable growth. You will also work closely with clients, ensuring an exceptional audit service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the client service management team in formulating audit strategy and planning
Serve as a technical expert, providing advice and leadership to the audit team and clients
Maintain control and stability under pressure, while recognising deadlines and urgency
Present audit opinion summaries and other reporting documents, including group reporting and audit committee papers
Identify and capitalise on opportunities for new business

Qualifications and Experience:

Significant experience leading external audits and managing a diverse portfolio of clients
ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified
Registered Individual (RI) with experience controlling a diverse audit client portfolio across sectors
Experience working at the Director level, ready to progress to Partner
Proven client relationship management skills
Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102 and IFRS
A track record of winning new business
