This firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Partner to join its team and play a crucial role in driving the success of client engagements across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will have a strategic approach to fostering business growth, building strong client relationships, and ensuring excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management: Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Oversee task delegation and ensure the delivery of high-quality service for each engagement, maintaining the highest standards throughout.

Business Development: Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance current service offerings and introduce new ones, contributing to revenue growth. A deep understanding of business strategy and commercial acumen is necessary to bring added value to both clients and the firm.

Collaboration & Marketing: Work closely with other departments to develop innovative ideas and strategies that enhance marketing efforts with existing clients. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the firm’s services to optimise the use of internal resources effectively.

Audit Management: Oversee the entire audit process, from initial planning to final execution, including budget control, scheduling, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will act as the Responsible Individual (RI) for client engagements, ensuring compliance and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent credential is required. Candidates who have attained or are working towards RI status will be prioritised.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong analytical skills to assess complex business scenarios, identify key issues, and develop solutions. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP is essential.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing a significant client portfolio at a senior level, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities: Strong decision-making abilities, with a focus on addressing challenges, devising solutions, and executing effective actions to meet client requirements.
