This firm presents a distinctive and compelling opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Audit service line as a Partner, playing an integral role within the Central Scotland leadership team. This role involves close collaboration with the Audit Partner group throughout Scotland and benefits from the support of a highly experienced and knowledgeable network within this firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, offering comprehensive advice to owner-managers on both business and personal matters, thereby establishing yourself as a trusted business adviser.
  • Propel revenue growth through both existing and innovative service offerings, demonstrating broad business acumen and sound commercial judgment to deliver value.
  • Collaborate effectively to generate ideas and strategies for enhancing marketing opportunities with current clients. Ensure full awareness of the services offered by all departments within this firm, thereby maximising cross-selling opportunities.
  • Oversee all aspects of client engagement on a daily basis, taking overall responsibility for work allocation and maintaining a consistently high level of client service.
  • Manage the entire audit process, including budget management and adherence to timelines, with a preference for candidates who can serve as a Responsible Individual.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ideally, hold RI status.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex business situations, identify key issues, and prioritize effectively, with an excellent working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP.
  • ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification, with significant senior-level experience managing a large client portfolio while leading a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make informed decisions, solve problems, and take appropriate actions.
