About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm is seeking individuals to contribute to various client projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies from key alliance vendors. Responsibilities may range from assisting in the development of innovative technology-based solutions and implementing third-party tax applications to optimising internal and external processes for multinational tax departments. Regardless of the specific tasks, your contributions will help build a highly skilled team while maintaining a strong emphasis on quality and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned tasks to completion, including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, and project profitability.
- Identify opportunities for automating manual tasks using financial or tax systems and emerging technologies.
- Consolidate tax data to streamline analysis and planning processes.
- Enhance reporting capabilities to improve client risk assessment and strategic decision-making.
- Support team members in achieving project deliverables within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- 4 to 6 years of experience with strong knowledge of domestic and international income tax.
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate income tax processes, including OECD and BEPS regulations.
- Strong interest in technology-driven business solutions.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience in large, multidisciplinary tax-related projects.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience implementing third-party tax systems (Thomson Reuters, CorpTax, SAP, etc.).
- Expertise in Microsoft Office VBA, database design (SQL Server), and ETL solutions (Alteryx, SSIS).
- Familiarity with ERP/EPM systems such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, MS Dynamics 365.
