This firm is seeking a seasoned Tax Senior to join their esteemed team. The successful applicant must demonstrate the capacity to thrive under pressure and efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of post-qualification accounting experience, with at least two years dedicated to tax-related roles. Qualifications should include AAT or CTA certification, or active pursuit of CTA credentials. Exceptional proficiency in both individual and corporate taxation, coupled with adept tax planning skills, is essential. The position demands impeccable written and verbal communication abilities in English, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
Key responsibilities encompass fostering robust client relationships, comprehending diverse business operations, and supporting the Tax Manager with various projects. The role involves conducting VAT, payroll, and CIS reviews, achieving monthly planning objectives, and executing technical tax planning and research. Additional duties include providing tax advisory services, liaising with HMRC, conducting client tax review meetings, and training staff members. The position also requires data mining for tax planning opportunities, completing personal tax returns for portfolio clients, and preparing and presenting financial accounts.
