Opportunity in a Leading firm.

This firm is currently seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join their Large Corporate team.

Role Summary and Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex UK tax computations and identify tax-saving opportunities, ensuring efficient use of tax reliefs.
  • Support businesses in expanding into new and emerging markets.
  • Coordinate and assist with overseas corporate tax compliance in collaboration with local advisors.
  • Draft advisory reports on international and large corporate tax matters, including:
    • Tax-efficient structuring and restructuring
    • Legal entity simplification and rationalization
    • Intercompany transactions advice and compliance with transfer pricing
    • Handling large or complex UK corporate tax issues, such as interest deductibility, hybrid mismatch, BEPS, corporate criminal offenses, SAO, tax strategy, etc.
  • Assist in the collection and review of data for UK and overseas tax investigations and inquiries.
  • Interpret and analyse new and evolving UK tax legislation.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional work with both existing and new clients.
  • Contribute to the professional development of junior tax advisors and support their training.
  • Assist the senior management team with key business projects and initiatives, including tax technology developments and growth strategies.
  • Exhibit a flexible and agile approach to work, coupled with effective time management, communication, and project management skills.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • CA or equivalent qualification, along with ATT/CTA, or equivalent knowledge.
  • A minimum of 4 years of UK corporate tax experience with multinational groups.
  • Experience in UK and overseas compliance, as well as international tax advisory work, is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing international and large corporate projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Demonstrate a professional, technical, and proactive approach to providing tax advice to clients.
