This firm seeks a Stamp Taxes Director to join them. The primary focus of this role is to lead the firm's stamp taxes advisory services, ensuring compliance and providing strategic guidance. The responsibilities include managing a team of tax professionals, advising on complex stamp duty land tax (SDLT) matters, and developing innovative tax planning strategies. The role also involves liaising with clients to deliver bespoke tax solutions and staying abreast of legislative changes to maintain the firm's competitive edge.

KEY DUTIES:
- Leading the stamp taxes advisory team and overseeing their professional development
- Providing expert advice on SDLT and other stamp taxes to clients
- Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to optimise client outcomes
- Conducting detailed tax reviews and ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in stamp taxes, particularly SDLT
- Professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
