Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
Owing to the continued success and expansion of this Private Capital Tax team there are now opportunities available to join them. Extensive training and support will be provided by a variety of tax professionals to assist in the development of a successful career within this firm.
This firm's Private Capital Tax team provides comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to non-listed Financial Services businesses, addressing both UK and international tax matters for the businesses themselves, their owners, employees, and other stakeholders. They also assist many ultra-high net worth and prominent individuals, offering guidance on both their personal tax needs and their business holdings or investment structures, such as trusts, funds, or family companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of complex and demanding UK and international tax advisory projects to clients, while supporting our growth strategy in the private capital market.
- Foster the development and growth of key client relationships by delivering exceptional service.
- Contribute to the development of the team through supervision, coaching, and mentoring of staff.
- Play a role in the management of the team’s strategy, operations, and staff development.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- In-depth practical tax knowledge related to advising individuals, families, and their investment structures, as well as UK corporate tax and partnership matters.
- Client-focused, offering pragmatic, solution-oriented advice in a commercial context.
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and sustain effective teams.
- Proficiency in adapting to new computer systems.
Qualifications Required:
- ACA / CTA / Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification.
- Strong technical tax skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and confidence.
- Experience in coaching and developing junior staff.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team, and to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
