About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm is currently seeking a UK Tax Senior to join their dynamic and fast-paced private client team. The firm provides tax advisory services to a diverse clientele, including international high net worth individuals residing in the UK, family offices, private equity and hedge fund principals, as well as prominent professional partnerships.
The firm is committed to serving as trusted advisers to their clients, offering a wide range of tax services. These services encompass tax return compliance, guidance on residence and domicile matters, transaction and reorganisation strategies, wealth optimisation from a tax perspective, and estate and succession planning. Given our predominantly international client base, experience working with non-domiciled individuals is essential.
The role involves both compliance and advisory responsibilities, working closely with Managers, Senior Managers, and other team members to analyse complex situations, provide expert advice, and develop sound technical opinions.

Candidate Profile:
Candidates must be experienced Tax Seniors with a robust understanding of UK tax regulations. The following qualifications are essential:
- ATT / CTA certification or equivalent experience
- Proven experience at a senior level within a private client department
- Expertise in working with non-UK domiciled individuals, including remittance basis tax returns and mixed fund analysis
- Familiarity with remittance planning, offshore account structuring, and tax treaties
- Comprehensive UK private client tax knowledge
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Strong communication, organisational, and technical writing skills
- Prior experience with clients who have US connections is advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Manage a client portfolio, including attending client meetings
- Review and sign-off on tax returns
- Oversee the development of junior staff
- Participate in management decision-making and risk management
- Engage in technical development and knowledge enhancement
- Act as a mentor and conduct staff appraisals
Experience with offshore trust matters is desirable.
