In today's environment, tax regulations are increasingly complex and ever-changing. As a direct tax ERP specialist, you will leverage your knowledge of global tax regulations and ERP systems to assist clients in selecting the appropriate technology tools and managing their systems to meet tax obligations efficiently. The primary responsibility is to engage with clients and enhance the value their ERP systems provide for tax purposes, whether implementing new systems or optimising existing ones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading large-scale client Tax ERP implementations with senior and junior colleagues.
  • Collaborating with client teams across all project phases.
  • Conducting gap analysis and recommending additional technology solutions.
  • Developing our Tax ERP implementation offerings in response to regulatory changes.
  • Managing end-to-end Tax ERP projects.
  • Facilitating workshops and maintaining key relationships with ERP vendors.
  • Supporting business development efforts to identify client opportunities.
  • Providing consulting support on processes, governance, and risk management.
  • Staying informed about the latest technology and ERP system updates.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of tax functions within ERP systems.
  • Experience with ERP implementation projects (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365).
  • Knowledge of global tax requirements and deployment.
  • Broad understanding of Direct and Indirect Taxes.
  • Consulting background is preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships and a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Strong team player with coaching abilities for junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Tax (either in-house or professional services).
  • Interest in technology.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Accounting or Tax qualification is advantageous but not essential.
