They are currently seeking to grow our team and are particularly interested in speaking with seasoned Senior Tax Managers who have established a strong reputation in the local market. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of building and nurturing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and possess a deep commitment to delivering exceptional client service. As this firm continues to make significant investments in its Private Business Tax team, we are searching for the right individual to contribute to their growth objectives during this dynamic period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities through personal networks and collaboration with other members of the Tax team or other service lines within the firm.
- Oversee the delivery of technically complex and challenging consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-oriented approach.
- Provide development support to junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
- Contribute to team initiatives, including staff retention and training efforts.
- Play a significant role in the management of the team, both in terms of strategic direction and day-to-day operations, including overseeing junior staff development and project assignments.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- ACA/CA, Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training, Law qualification, Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent expertise.
- Strong tax technical skills with a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality results.
- Demonstrated business development skills, with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.

- Project management expertise with the ability to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
- Creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
