This firm seeks a Senior Manager to assist and support the Private Client Partners in developing and managing the Private Client advisory and compliance services. The position plays a crucial role in expanding the firm's tax services within the Private Client sector and offers technical and professional guidance to the broader team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Private Client Specialist aiming for progression to Partner in a dynamic and rapidly expanding team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of high net worth individuals, trusts, and estates concerning UK tax reporting requirements. This includes reviewing and approving tax computations, returns, and relevant reports.
  • Planning and budgeting all tax compliance work for clients, ensuring timely completion and effective billing.
  • Providing technical support to inquiries from other teams and conducting quality reviews of the Private Client team’s work.
  • Engaging in UK tax planning, including forecasting tax payments and handling ad-hoc projects.
  • Addressing client queries, identifying potential issues, and considering broader tax implications.
  • Actively promoting the firm's Private Client expertise both internally and externally, through producing technical updates, delivering presentations, and participating in seminars and training.
  • Contributing to marketing publications and events.
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for cross-selling services and providing consultancy to compliance clients.
  • Offering feedback to Private Client team members to support their growth and providing mentorship and coaching to foster their professional and technical development.

Qualifications required include CTA certification, comprehensive knowledge of UK tax matters related to private clients, strong networking abilities, and experience advising high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals. The ideal candidate will also be adept at identifying cross-selling opportunities and training junior team members.
