This firm is seeking a highly qualified tax lawyer to provide expert counsel on a range of corporate tax matters. Key responsibilities include advising on the tax aspects of various transactions, such as:
- Structured real estate deals
- Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate transactions
- Fund structures, including hedge, debt, and real estate funds
- Cross-border transactions and international tax frameworks
- Structured finance, Islamic finance, and capital markets
- Insolvency, restructuring, and VAT/indirect tax matters
Qualifications for this role include qualification to practice in the UK (England and Wales preferred), with a strong academic record and substantial experience in corporate tax law. Experience in real estate and corporate transactions is advantageous, with additional knowledge in fund taxation or financial transactions considered a plus.
Candidates should demonstrate a commercial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently while confidently engaging with clients. Strong communication skills and adaptability are essential.
