About the Role

This firm is looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to lead its Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will spearhead innovation, manage project execution, and mentor the team in creating groundbreaking solutions.
The responsibilities include overseeing the entire R&D process, from conceptualisation to implementation, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align R&D activities with the firm's strategic goals and market demands.
KEY DUTIES:
- Leading and mentoring the R&D team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Developing and implementing R&D strategies that align with the firm's objectives.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the R&D process.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success and commercial viability.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
- A degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
- Extensive experience in a senior R&D management role within the industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex R&D projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
