Primary Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and sustain client relationships.
- Engage in proactive business development to secure new opportunities.
- Manage the delivery of technically complex and challenging consulting projects, ensuring technical precision and a practical, business-focused approach.
- Support the development of junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
- Contribute to people initiatives, including team retention and training.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Client-focused with strategic and commercial acumen.
- Strong technical expertise in tax matters.
- Excellent client relationship management skills and the ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Effective negotiation skills and resilience in handling challenges.
- Proven business development capabilities, with a track record of identifying and securing new business.
- Strong time management skills, particularly under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of advising a range of individuals or companies, including AIM listed, PE-backed, Family-Owned, and OMB businesses, or experience with management incentive plans or share option plans.
Qualifications:
- ACA, CTA, Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training, Law qualification, or equivalent tax specialist qualification.
- Extensive tax technical knowledge.
- Experience in coaching and developing junior staff.
Desirable Skills:
- Project management expertise, including planning, prioritising, meeting deadlines, and budget management.
- Creative and pragmatic problem-solving abilities.
