Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.

A firm is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in providing expert guidance on complex cross-border tax matters and supporting various transactional activities. This position is integral to the firm's strategic growth plans and offers an exciting chance to work at the forefront of international tax advisory services in the alternative investment sector.


Key Duties:

- Delivering technically complex and demanding tax advisory projects across fund tax, international tax, UK corporation tax, UK income tax, capital gains tax, and other relevant tax matters.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, becoming their trusted advisor.
- Supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff to aid their development.
- Managing the team in terms of strategy, operations, and staff development.
- Proactively engaging in business development to secure new work.
- Interacting with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties, including major financial institutions, lawyers, and wealth advisory businesses.

Qualifictions:

- Wealth and Asset Management tax experience within an accounting or law firm.
- Familiarity with the alternative asset management/private assets industry, particularly hedge funds, private equity funds, and credit funds.
- Experience across a range of fund tax matters, including fund formation, acquisitions and disposals of assets, reorganisations, and asset management structures.
- Proficiency in UK corporate tax and/or partnership matters.
- Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to develop quality outputs for clients.
