Opportunity in a Top 100 firm.
This firm is seeking professionals with expertise in corporate and business taxation within a specialised team. The chosen applicant will collaborate closely with leadership, supporting them in tax compliance and advisory roles through both preparation and review processes. Under guidance, they will compose calculations, correspondence, and reports for higher-level assessment. Their responsibilities will include crafting essential client documentation, managing financial constraints, and contributing to diverse tax-related initiatives, encompassing both compliance and advisory aspects.
The client base spans a broad spectrum of corporate and business sectors, from small enterprises to groups with turnovers exceeding several hundred million, including owner-managed businesses, subsidiaries of international groups, charities, and LLPs.
Required Skills:
Recent professional services experience and corporate/business tax knowledge
ACA/ACCA/ATT qualified or equivalent experience (CTA support available)
Strong tax compliance, advisory, and technical planning skills
High proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of Alphatax or CCH is beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to travel within East Anglia
Extensive experience in corporate/business taxation in a professional environment
Expertise in Corporation Tax Returns, remuneration planning, business acquisitions/disposals, group restructuring, R&D tax credits, cross-border issues, and more
Involvement in tax due diligence and M&A transactions alongside the Corporate Finance team
