About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm seeks a Global Operations Director to join them. The successful candidate will manage Global Tax Operations and assist in managing executive rosters and budgets, overseeing the Global Tax support team, and spearheading improvement initiatives as needed. The individual will serve as a key member of the Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the execution of deliverables from Global Tax Executive and Leadership meetings
- Collaborating with Global Tax functions such as Finance, Markets, Talent, and Business Enablement
- Ensuring consistency in organisational structure and governance across the Tax service line
- Overseeing Sub-Service Line Directors of Operations
- Monitoring project development and implementation against KPIs and objectives
- Leading Executive Committee meetings to maintain operational consistency and best practices
- Supporting the planning and execution of the annual Leadership meeting
- Creating executive-level communications and addressing time-sensitive requests from leadership
Global travel may be required for attending key meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience (preferably in Tax)
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and people management abilities
- Knowledge of the firm’s global structure and key industry trends
