This firm seeks an FS Corporate Tax Manager to join them. The primary focus of this role is to manage the corporate tax compliance and reporting functions within the financial services sector.
The responsibilities include overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing tax audits. Additionally, the role involves providing strategic tax advice to senior management and collaborating with various departments to optimise the firm's tax position.
KEY DUTIES:
- Overseeing the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns
- Ensuring compliance with current tax legislation and regulations
- Managing tax audits and liaising with tax authorities
- Providing strategic tax advice to senior management
- Collaborating with finance and legal teams to optimise tax efficiency
- Monitoring changes in tax laws and advising on their impact
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Professional qualification in tax (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA)
- Extensive experience in corporate tax compliance and reporting within the financial services sector
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly and effectively
