Director, Audit

Opportunity in a Top 20 firm.

This firm seeks an Audit Director to join them. This prestigious accounting firm is looking for an accomplished Audit Director to lead their audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of audit quality and compliance with IFRS and UKGAAP.

This role also involves mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.

KEY DUTIES:
- Leading and managing audit engagements for a variety of clients across different industries
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UKGAAP standards
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, providing expert advice and insights
- Overseeing the performance and development of the audit team, including coaching and mentoring
- Conducting internal quality control reviews and implementing improvements
- Collaborating with other departments to support the firm’s overall strategic goals

QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience in auditing clients within a variety of industries
- Proven capability of managing a large portfolio of clients
- Excellent working knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP
- Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring a team
