About the Role

Opportunity in a Big 4.

This firm is seeking a Tax Advisor to join a dynamic and diverse team, offering the opportunity to work across multiple service lines, enhance your skills, and engage with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee several GCR contracts, with roles varying from client-facing to supervising service delivery.
  • Proactively manage service delivery risks through issue and risk logs, implementing escalation procedures when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different jurisdictions, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Assist in managing contract governance, adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • Monitor contract performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Guide junior team members, support colleagues on contractual matters, and oversee fee and scope negotiations.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects, maintaining both technical excellence and business relevance.

Quality and Risk Management:

  • Support the Global Engagement Leader in overseeing quality and risk management processes and ensuring compliance with agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve client service management issues and maintain contractual frameworks.
  • Review and improve compliance and reporting processes, focusing on efficiency and control points.
  • Assist with business development, proposals, and client presentations, identifying opportunities for expanding the firm's services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in Corporate or Indirect Tax, accountancy, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, CA, ATTI, CTA, or equivalent.
  • Proven project management skills, preferably with PRINCE2 certification.
  • Strong relationship management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
