About the Role
Opportunity in a Big 4 firm.
This firm seeks a Banking Tax Manager to join them. The main function of this role is to provide specialised tax support and guidance within the banking sector. The responsibilities also include managing tax compliance and advisory services for a variety of clients, conducting internal quality control reviews, and performing due diligence on potential acquisitions. This role requires a proactive approach to client management and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
KEY DUTIES:
- Providing expert tax advice and support to banking clients
- Managing tax compliance processes and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
- Conducting internal quality control reviews and implementing best practices
- Performing due diligence on potential acquisitions and advising on tax implications
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver integrated tax solutions
- Assisting with client advisory projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent
- Extensive experience in tax management within the banking sector
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
